VasaviSiri ("the App", "we") is a devotional music Progressive Web App operated by Megahard Technologies, accessible at techmh.com/vasavisiri/app/.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect information when you use VasaviSiri. We do not require account creation, name, or personal identification to use the app.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Automatically Collected (Anonymous)

• Approximate geographic location (country/city) — derived from IP address for visitor statistics. IP addresses are not stored.
• Browser type and OS (anonymous, for compatibility)
• Pages visited and songs played (anonymous session data)

2.2 Song Ratings

Ratings are stored linked to a session identifier only — not to any account or email. Used solely to calculate average ratings shown to all users.

• Payment information (the app is free)
• Account credentials

3. How We Use Information

• Understand which features are most useful and improve the app
• Display anonymous visitor statistics on our admin dashboard
• Calculate and display song ratings
• Track total play counts for "Top Songs" features
• Ensure the app works correctly across different devices

We do not use data for advertising, profiling, marketing or any commercial purpose.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

4.1 Local Storage

VasaviSiri uses browser localStorage to remember preferences (volume, last position, karaoke settings). This stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.

4.2 Service Worker Cache

As a PWA, VasaviSiri uses a Service Worker to cache app files and downloaded songs on your device for offline use only.

4.3 No Tracking Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or any third-party tracking tools.

5. Offline Storage

Songs saved via "Save Offline" are stored in your browser's Cache Storage on your own device. This data:

• Is stored entirely on your device — never uploaded
• Can be cleared anytime through your browser settings
• Contains no personal information

6. Third-Party Services

6.1 YouTube

Song YouTube links open YouTube in a new tab. YouTube's own privacy policy applies. VasaviSiri does not embed YouTube iframes or load YouTube scripts.

6.2 CDN Libraries

Bootstrap, Font Awesome and jQuery are loaded from public CDNs (Cloudflare, Google Fonts) which may log your IP as standard server logging.

6.3 No Data Selling

We never sell, rent or share any user data with third parties for commercial purposes.

7. Your Rights

• Clear all locally stored data through your browser's "Clear Site Data" option
• Uninstall the PWA at any time to remove all cached data
• Contact us to request deletion of any session-linked data

8. Children's Privacy

VasaviSiri is a devotional music app suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since no account creation is required, there is no mechanism to collect personal information from any user.

9. Security

VasaviSiri is served over HTTPS ensuring all communication is encrypted. Since we collect minimal data, the risk of data exposure is inherently low.

10. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of VasaviSiri constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
